LADY PI AND THE PRISMATICKS bring you an eclectic repertoire through the prism of classic jazz. Their music spans over a century of great tunes, including jazz standards of all stripes, Paris Café and other international, Broadway, the movies, and originals. Their style varies from the infectious swing tunes from the heyday of jazz, to sizzling Latin rhythms, right through to the blues, moody noir, and torch ballads.
Featuring the velvety vocals of Shraddha Pai, whose voice has been likened to Jazz Age singers such as Lena Horne, along with a top-notch band composed of musicians playing in Toronto’s hottest jazz venues, including Gram Whitty on bass, Nathaniel Edgar on keys, and Simon Dennis on drums.
